I think that 'auto upload all the photos' part would drive me nuts!

I have exactly the same problem (love picasa, but want to upload to a different site like flickr), and while I believe some people have tried hacking together a solution, I don't think there's any great answer right now. So I started using Riya instead of flickr, because (a) it gives you unlimited storage for free, and (b) it has an uploader app that runs in the background and scans your computer and uploads all your photos, so there's no need to do any work--my photos just magically show up on Riya, and I can then share them as I want. It also does the face recognition on photos, which is great when for eample I want to find photos with me and Michelle in the same picture (hard to do otherwise!). js
