January 15 - Sugar Bowl - Bluebird pow day trip on the ski bus. Great first day on the new Blizzard Spurs. (SNOCRU)
January 18 - Alpine Meadows - Afternoon runs after driving up. (SNOCRU)
January 20 - Squaw - Weird wind crust and light powder. Crashed while landing off a drop in Granite Chief and bent my pole over my ribs. Very sore!
January 21 - Alpine - Bruised rib sucks but can ski. Played with some new GoPro angles.
February 17 - Snowbird - Rib and back feeling much better after last month’s crash.
February 18 - Alta/Snowbird - 100mph winds at Alpine in the morning and then they lost power. Untracked pow on Gadzoom in the afternoon.
February 19 - Snowbird - Fun little powder day.

February 21 - Snowbird - Lots of speed laps on Great Scott. Got to ride with Angel Collinson and a group of ~12 year old freeride team kids in the afternoon, ending with my first run down Main Chute into Alta.
March 8 - Squaw - Successful day trip for bluebird powder.

March 27 - Haines, AK - Cat trip to Old Faithful for wet pow laps. Waiting on weather.
March 30 - Haines, AK - Got out for ~4 heli runs from the airport. Sadly it has been too hot for any soft snow to survive.
March 31 - Haines, AK - 9 runs from the airport. Lots of sunny corn and some chalky stuff.
April 2 - Haines, AK - 9-ish runs from the airport again. Bit of new snow helped soften things up, but still really warm out there. Hopefully this next storm cycle can reset things for the next group!
April 23 - Squaw - 20” storm made a day trip worth the effort. Bluebird and great conditions!
2014 - 2015
December 30 - Niseko, Japan - Beautiful start to the season. Old powder in the woods at Annupuri resort. Cut my lip open on a hard landing.
December 31 - Niseko, Japan - Woah… 40cm fresh.
January 1 - Niseko, Japan - 20cm more. Made it over to Niseko and Hirafu resorts. Some great terrain over there.
January 2 - Niseko, Japan - 50cm more. This place is insane. Wish we didn’t have to leave.
February 2 - Alta/Snowbird - Few inches of fresh snow made for a fun day, though the visibility was terrible. (Strava)
February 3 - Alta/Snowbird - Only a dusting of new snow, but nice and clear in the morning. Everyone’s waiting for more snow. (Strava)
February 4 - Alta/Snowbird - Few inches of new snow but very fun. Incredibly warm mid-day. Had a good crash (see video).
February 5 - Snowbird - Lots of nice windblown snow. (Strava)
February 6 - Snowbird - Super windy. Most lifts closed down. Hit 70mph on the powder skis though… (Strava)
February 7 - Alta/Snowbird - Heli canceled but weather ended up being great. (Strava)
February 8 - Snowbird - 1” overnight to soften things up. Rode 185cm Blizzard Cochise demos. Really powerful ski, but I didn’t have the legs to push it hard. (Strava)

February 18 - Alpine - Very warm. Messing around on boxes in the park. (Strava)
February 19 - Squaw - Waiting for cooler weekend weather. (Strava)
February 20 - Squaw - Demoing a pair of Salomon X-Drive 8.8 FS. Really fun to be on a traditional camber ski that can really carve again. (Strava)
February 21 - Alpine - Ripping nice groomers. Banzai Tour event time trial going on. Wish I had entered! (Strava)
February 22 - Alpine - Crazy windy. Snow guns all blowing. No visibility. (Strava)
March 14 - Baldface Lodge - Heavy snow and rain all day. Skiing on mashed potatoes. Totally soaked.
March 15 - Baldface Lodge - Everything froze overnight. New snow falling but the base is so crusty. Next group will have fun…
March 16 - Whitewater - Bluebird with ~12” snow overnight. Got two fun runs in before power went out. Hiked two runs and built a jump.
March 17 - Whitewater - Still great snow. Hiked 3 laps in Upper Powder Keg. Mike cut his chin open jumping a big cliff up there.
March 28 - Park City - Mid-50s with great corn. (Strava)
March 29 - Park City - Great spring day. Did 26 runs and the legs feel strong. Time for AK! (Strava)
April 4 - Haines, AK - 8 hours of bluebird, great snow, and amazing terrain. Some snow instability let us see a few big slide paths.
April 5 - Haines, AK - Late start but more great snow and light. Had a big crash on my last run but no injuries. Still lots to learn about navigating this sort of terrain.
April 13 - Haines, AK - Extended my trip by two days in order to catch this day of clear weather. Worth it!
